So I was driving home and had to gas it a bit to make it over to a turn 2 lanes over between lights. An excitable guy in a civic si pulls up next to me and signals to roll down my window. “Bro your car is spitting flames, Yo! Did you put a turbo in that thing?!”

So I guess my car spits flames now.

As LED tail lights become more prevalent this might actually be useful. Better than having to get out every 20 miles to clear the snow off so I can be seen.

My last car would do it every once in a great while. One beautiful moment I was being tailgated by a Jeep with a chrome grille after dark, I shifted, I see a flash of orange in my rearview, and suddenly the Jeep isn’t tailgating me anymore. 10/10 experience I would recommend to anyone.
